Last week, we got together in Oakland with a group of leadership development practitioners and thought-leaders to explore the action learning methodology Emergent Learning Mapping.  The goal was to offer an experiential opportunity for the group and learn the basic structure of the methodology.  To get the conversation started, we posed the question “What does it take to learn through discomfort and conflict?” and used that as our main question as we moved through the different steps of the exercise.

The Leadership Learning Community Supports The IntraHealth’s Vistaar Project

In late 2006, IntraHealth International began a USAID-funded project in India, called the Vistaar Project, aimed at assisting the Government to improve maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition. read more »

LLC Welcomes 3 New Board Members

We are pleased to announce the expansion of our board of directors.  After an open and transparent selection process, in which LLC members served on a nominations committee and the entire community was invited to nominate candidates, three highly qualified candidates were selected: Grady McGonagill, Cecilia Roddy and LaDon James. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our selection committee:  Diane McCarthy Johnson, Jim Krile, Sonia Ospina, Ashok Regmi and Pauline Vela, and to introduce our new board members.
