Donna Dinkin is a Public Health Leadership Consultant and an Action Learning Specialist and Coach. She is recognized for her expertise in designing, implementing and evaluating leadership development experiences for mid- to senior level health and human service professionals. She serves as a co- trainer for the Center for Creative Leadership’s (CCL) Leadership Beyond Boundaries Program in Africa and has been a Capacity Building Expert for several USAID Evaluation studies in Africa and Central America.

Dr. Dinkin’s unique contribution to the practice of leadership development is her experience in the area of Action Learning. She is a seasoned Team Learning Coach and has recently led or been involved in several initiatives that were designed to help people, organizations and communities build sustainable leadership capacity through the use of strategic action learning team projects.  Donna has served as an Action Learning Consultant and Coach for the Center for Creative Leadership-Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Ladder to Leadership Program and as the AL Coaching Consultant & Trainer for several leadership development programs including the Kentucky Public Health Leadership Institute, Leaders Across Borders (Mexico and the US), California-Hawaii Public Health Leadership Institute and the new Plaza Partnership ReAL Collaborative in Nebraska.

Prior to consulting, Donna worked for the University of North Carolina, School of Public Health as the Director of the National Public Health Leadership Institute (NPHLI) and the Southeast Public Health Leadership Institute (SEPHLI.) SEPHLI and NPHLI were both year-long leadership development programs for mid- to senior level public health officials.
