Shifting the Leadership Development Paradigm: Leadership for a New Era

The Leadership Learning Community, a national organization of practitioners, funders, and researchers focused on leadership development, social justice, and social change, is launching Leadership for a New Era (LNE). LNE is a collaborative learning initiative committed to shifting leadership development thinking and practice from a primary focus on developing the skills and capacities of individual leaders to succeed within current institutional arrangements to a focus on expanding and unleashing leadership capacity within and across communities.

Only a highly collaborative approach can help generate new theory, practice and evaluation results that can alter the existing paradigm.
