LLC: Marketing Communications Internship

Summary:

The Leadership Learning Community is looking for a Marketing Communications intern. The position will help support the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for increasing LLC’s brand and position in the field, including a social media strategy for engaging new audiences.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Marketing Communications team to:

  • Assist with content management: newsletter, website, wikis, collateral materials
  • Help promote LLC through social media: grow Ning community, initiate outreach
  • Research media targets for PR initiatives and potential partners for consulting services
  • Track relevant news and keep team informed
  • Help develop performance reports for website, newsletter and others
  • Provide support for the brand positioning project (collect and analyze data)


Qualifications:

  • BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in developing marketing/communications initiatives
  • Tech savvy (preferred)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong knowledge of social networks
  • Strong collaborative, planning and implementation skills
  • Multicultural competence

Compensation: transportation stipend
Duration: 3 months or more (part-time or full-time)
