Leadership Development
- Background in leadership development (Education and/or Experience):
- I was a participant in the inaugural year (1995) of Women's Health Leadership (WHL). I then worked for WHL from 1998-2005 as a Program Coordinator. And, I was an early member of the Bay Area LLC.
- Current leadership development work (Roles and/or Positions):
- Currently I work as a coach with leaders in social justice organizations. A huge emphasis of my work is leadership development. I also am a coach with the Haas, Jr. Flexible Leadership Award initiative, LeaderSpring and the Clinic Leadership Institute of the UCSF Center for the Health Professions. And, I am a member of LeaderSpring's Leadership Council.
- What do you hope to gain from and contribute to the learning community:
- I love working with social justice leaders. I am inspired and nurtured by their dedication and vision. I want to learn all I can to enhance my abilities to support these leaders and doing so support the potential for social equity. I also want to share what I have learned from my experiences with leadership programs and leaders to support the field of leadership development.
