The Leadership Learning Community (LLC) is working with the Public Health Institute as part of the curriculum design hub for the National Leadership Academy for the Public’s Health. PHI received a grant from the Center for Disease Control to design and implement the NLAPH, a program that brings together a diverse team of at least 4 individuals from different organizations and sectors. NLAPH selected teams from 20 communities who are being provided with leadership curriculum and coaching to support their collaborative work on a public health project over the course of a year. LLC is helping to convene a great team of curriculum advisers to develop a curriculum model, identify and secure web forums, design the leadership retreat and help integrate multiple program components to support successful action that contributes to the public health.
