Environmental Careers Organization

Description:

The Environmental Careers Organization, Inc. (ECO) is a 30 year-old national, nonprofit education, training and leadership development organization that focuses on environmental careers. An environmental career is a life-long learning activity where one lives, works and plays through one's job, philanthropy and volunteerism. This is accomplished through leadership and intern programs, national conferences, workshops, seminars, books, publications, a diversity initiative and a web site (www.eco.org). Eco's primary leadership development work is done through the Sustainable Communities Leadership Program, which creates learning teams of college and graduate students as emerging leaders.
