VOX Teen Communications

Description:

VOX Teen Communications is a non-profit youth-development organization located in downtown Atlanta, GA, dedicated to giving us teens the skills and resources to raise our voices about issues that most matter to us. We provide forums for self-expression, information-sharing, and leadership to engage teens as active builders of a stronger community. VOX helps teens speak out in the community. Through VOX, teens create VOX Newspaper, reaching 80,000 teens in metro Atlanta. Teens at VOX also provide peer-to-peer writing and "Know Your Rights" workshops, host essay and art contests, and organize other ways for youth to project their voices to fill an information void, engage youth in public dialogue, and inspire positive change. Adults work with teens to help them accomplish their goals.
