Introduction: We live in a multi-racial world where the ability to accumulate wealth, find a job, attend a good school, or live in a healthy neighborhood is largely determined by race. This publication explores the ways in which our current thinking about leadership may actually be contributing to these growing disparities. We believe that we need to change our leadership development thinking and approaches in order to become part of the solution to significant racial inequalities.
