Key Values/Pillars

– Love/justice
– Community
– Transformation
– Groundedness to earth, life, and seasons

Values/Pillars Embodied

-Love/justice: I demonstrate love for myself to my work partners as I love them during our working times, sharing myself and inquiring about them, aiming for an ever-deeper relationship that I believe will become more and more possible as our trust deepens.

-Community: In the way I connect with my clients and the ways I try to help my clients connect within their own ecosystems, I aim to practice connection through the community as the solution to many, if not all, problems. A frequent comment I hear is, “Wow! We never opened up to each other like this, and I had no idea about that part of my coworkers. Thank you, Lawrence!”

– Transformation: I am endlessly fascinated with the metamorphosis of caterpillars into butterflies. in my practice, I believe in building a strong container and then preparing for things to fall apart inside of that container. I make space for full-on agenda redesigns (relying on the tools on emergent strategy facilitation), big grief or other heavy feelings to move, and also big laughter and joy. i create space for rest (including explicit times to take naps while “on the clock”, often during retreats) as well as visioning, both of which i believe are needed for transformation.

– Groundedness – the deeper I move into my work, the more I see how our disconnection from the physical body of the earth, herself, limits our ability to get where we imagine ourselves going. in my practice, I make space for grounding of all types, most of which have some element of connection with the land most proximate to the participants, whether in virtual or physical space.
