Love Work: Liberatory Leadership in Practice is a transformative exploration of leadership that centers on justice, equity, and collective liberation. Developed by the Leadership Learning Community (LLC), this report captures the reflections, learnings, and tools from a 10-month Liberatory Leadership Community of Practice (CoP) that brought together eight visionary leaders in racial and reproductive justice.
This report explores the practices and principles that redefine leadership, moving away from hierarchical, extractive models toward approaches rooted in care, rest, and shared responsibility. Love Work offers opportunities to create liberatory practices within organizations and communities through personal stories, frameworks, calls to action, and reflection questions. It’s an invitation to dream, reflect, and embody leadership that aligns with our deepest values, amplifying the possibility of collective transformation and systemic change.
